We offer ideal settings for conventions and get-togethers, whether it's dog shows, clubs, circuses, concerts, friends or associations. With our large space, we can adapt to your needs and create the best setting for both small and large groups.
We offer indoor facilities as well as a room for communal dining or meetings. For larger groups, we collaborate with local tent rental companies and operators in the area. In addition, we have outdoor areas of up to 15.000 m², which can be used for exhibitions and meetings.

We have had a lot of conventions and meetings at Tornby Strand Camping.
The Land Rover Club
Every year at Whitsun, the Land Rover Club spends the night at Tornby Strand Camping.
The Land Rovers are on their annual trip along the west coast of North Jutland to Skagen.
Dog show
We have a large space where you can hold a dog show. We have the Danish Schnauzer and Pinscher Club and the Danish and international St. Bernard Dog Show. Our own Giant Schnauzer was very interested in all the dogs.
Motorhome groups
Many groups with campervans visit us on their way around Denmark or on their way to and from the ferry to Norway, the Faroe Islands or Iceland. We have plenty of space so you can park together.
Dutch camping club SKC Senioren Campeers Club
20 caravans and motorhomes, from the Dutch group SKC senioren campers club, which were on their way to and from Norway.
Iceland tour along the West Coast
We have had a visit from the Icelandic Horse Club Toppur for 2 days. It was 2 lovely days with lots of horses. There were paddocks for the horses in a common area. A communal meal in our function rooms and a well-deserved rest day for Icelanders and riders.
The camping caravan
The camping caravan from www.campingferie.dk is visiting Tornby Strand Camping. The caravan starts with us here at our North Jutland campsite by the North Sea. There is an exhibition and entertainment, news and other interesting experiences.

Historic Opel meeting
The Historical Opel Meeting in Whitsun 2012 was a success. The Historical Opel Club had 74 cars on display and on Sunday it was open to guests and an exhibition of other “old” cars. We had around 1000 visitors to the exhibition. The Opel Club was very satisfied with the large area they had available as well as the service and facilities at the venue.

Family reunion
We can always find a common area where you can gather with your family and friends. It is also possible to use our cabins for overnight stays.
Camping groups
If you are traveling as a group, e.g. on your way to or from the ferries to Norway, the Faroe Islands or Iceland, you are welcome to contact us before you arrive. We will provide a shared area for you where you can be together. It is possible to borrow a room for communal dining, and we offer group discounts and suggestions for experiences in the area.
We can also offer accommodation for those who do not have a caravan or tent. At the site we have:
- 18 cabins (most with private toilet)
- 6 rental tents
- 7 rooms
If you arrive early, we can reserve a shared area for you and your group. There is room for approximately 100 trailers in a shared area.
Larger exhibitions and meetings
If you want to hold a larger event in North Jutland, we have the framework and space for it. It can be family parties, scout trips, cycling clubs, fishing friends, exhibitions, get-togethers, circus, motorcycle, car show or much more. Nothing is too small, but something can be too big.
Camping clubs / associations
If your club needs a place to meet, please contact us for more information. We have plenty of space and can find indoor rooms where you can hold a general meeting or other events, also during the winter period. We collaborate with restaurants and other eateries in the area, so we can help with catering for larger groups.
Collaboration with Hotel Strandlyst
Hotel Strandlyst, located directly opposite the campsite, expands the possibilities for large events.
The combination of the campsite's facilities and the hotel's restaurant and rooms with space for over 200 people makes it possible to hold events of any size.
