It is located in scenic surroundings, immediately south of the paved forest road, where the Kjul å river crosses the road. It is located approximately 4 meters above the level of the river. The interesting thing about the spring is that it does not overflow during wet periods, which indicates a drain just below ground level.

Role playing in Tornby
The Secret of the Yxenskoven is a so-called "low magic" fantasy live role-playing game. The game takes place in the small village of Yxengaard, which is located in the Yxenskoven. The town is populated by Norsemen and Sidians. The Norsemen can be compared to Vikings and the Sidians are very much influenced by the Christian Crusaders. This means that the game takes place in a time that is confusingly similar to the time of struggle between paganism and Christianity.
