The outdoor swimming pool is heated with a solar heating system, the temperature may well approach 30 degrees on good days. For the days when the beach is busy.
There are children’s sections with water depths from 0-50 cm. The large part of the pool has a water depth of 130 cm.
Outdoor pool is open from the first of June to mid-August depending on the weather.
Our indoor swimming pool is heated to around 25-28 gr. Here is the hot tub and baby area. It is possible to use the swimming pool from. 1.4 to 1.10.
Free entry if you live on the campsite. However, indoor pool costs 10.- when the outdoor pool is open.

Take a game of ludo and have fun with the family. You can borrow pieces and cube, for free, in the information.
We have 2 Shetland ponies at the campsite. Bette there is a magic eye with blue eyes. Tøsen is a white Shetlander.
Feeding the ponies is not allowed, although it is a beautiful thought. If the horses get 50 apples a day they can get sick.
You are welcome in smaller groups when we feed and care for the animals.
Take your horse to camping
It is possible to take a horse at the campsite. We have some folds where the horses can go. It is possible to buy hay. Experience riding the routes in the beautiful nature of Northern Jutland and spend an overnight stay in a cabin or tent. You can also ride from the square on the nearby riding trails.
There is a large football court in the middle of the campsite. Here are goals on the football field, beach volley court, badminton net. There are benches and tables.
18 hole mini golf course by the entres into the campsite. Here you can show that you are the best at playing mini golf. The course has been renovated and expanded in the spring of 2020
It costs DKK 45 per Adult and 25 per kid. Clubs and balls can be rented from the store.
Everyone is welcome even if you do not live in the campground.
Nice large playground with space around the play equipment. Here are 2 jump pillows, 2 play stands with slide tower and sandpit, there are swings and springers
There are benches for mom and dad so they can sit and enjoy there children’s play.
Trampes hule, the “old” fireplace room, has been transformed into a children’s room. Here there are activities and playrooms for children. Here are Table tennis, Air hockey, Drawing corner, Sofas tables chairs TVs etc.
The room can also be used if you have more cabins that want to eat together.
The dog forest is a small fence where your dog can run loose. Here it can meet other dogs. There are benches and there will be various effects the dogs can rent with / on.
Always remember to pick up after your dog. Also in the dog forest.
The store has breakfast bread, dairy products and other food items. Here you can buy gas, cold beer and soda, sweets and ice cream for the sweet tooth. We also have lots of other things you can’t use for anything.
NEW: now also coffee shop with various hot beverages and a sluchic machine for the hot time.
If you come in your own caravan, tent or camper, then it is free to bring dog. If you come with more than 3 dogs there is cost for extra dogs more than 2. Dogs are also allowed in our cabins, tents and rooms, but here there is a fee for dogs.
There is WiFi all over the campground. If you book your stay online at our website www.tornbystrandcamping.dk you will get free WiFi during your stay.
In the information / reception you will find brochures and tourist information, from the area’s attractions and other interesting places. Here you can buy tickets for the North Sea Oceanarium and Fårup summerland.
This is also the place where you buy washing coins, and get tokins for indoor pools, etc.
Open from 1 p.m. 8.00 – 22.30 high season and 8.00 – 22.00 in the off season, Dinner closed 12 – 14 (16) The phone and mail are open all year.
If you arrive in winter, please call on arrival. There is also a clock you can contact us on.
We have a total of 350 pitches at Tornby Strand Camping. There are large and small places, with and without electricity. We have pitches in full sun and some in shade. There is places to suit the family of children near the playground, but also places for the adult, where there is more peace and quiet.
Most pitches are 10 m wide and at least 10-12 m deep. There are also large “14 meters” pitches and some with water and drains. For motorhomes there are many places with a good ground.
Tornby Strand Camping here is always a place for you.
Washing machines are located in the service buildings closest to the information. You can buy washing coins in the information.
Wash 35, – (large machine, it takes about 30-40 minutes)
Tumble dryer here you can use 2 kroner and 5 kroner.
The coin laundry is open all year.
Outside the Trampes hule you will find the campfire. We have different activities around the fire. Sno bread, pancake frying, or a sticky marshmallow over the fire.
Our kitchen in the service buildings near the reception is also fish kitchen. Here, fishermen are allowed to clean and cut the fish out. There are freezers for freezing the big catches.
It is good to fish from the beach and in Hirtshals there are many opportunities to take fishing boats out to the yellow reef.
Inside the campsite there are caravan emptying facilities. Here you can also refill water and drain waste water.
Car wash is not allowed at the camper dump
Camping all year round. With us you can camp all year. It is open for caravans, tents and motorhomes. In the winter, we also have rooms and cabins you can rent for a day or the whole holiday.
There are barbeque area next to the big facilities boulding.
Next to the entrance to the campsite we have 3 service buildings.
Two toilet buildings containing men’s room with total of 4 showers, 4 toilets and 2 urinals. Ladies room with total of 4 showers and 6 toilets.
A building with kitchen / fish kitchen, cemical toilet and coin laundry. Outdoor cleaning area for fish and dishes.
These are also the buildings used for winter camping. Free bath for our guests.
In the middle of the square we have a centrally located service building Men’s room, with 3 toilets, urinal and 3 washbasins.
Women’s room with 4 toilets and 3 washbasins.
3 Family room with baby changing tabel, toilet, sink and shower.
Kitchen and outdoor sink. Chemical toilet.
Waste dump at all toilet buildings.
Outdoor washbasins and table benches under half roof.

The southern service building is the largest of our facility’s buildings.
Men’s room with 8 toilets, 5 washbasins with shavings, 4 shower rooms.

Women’s room with 10 toilets, 5 washbasins with power plugs, 4 shower rooms.
Family room with adult and child shower, adult and child toilet.
Handicap room with disabled toilet and shower. Chemistry toilet.
Kitchen with 8 gas cookers, 2 oven, microwave, 10 sinks for washing up.
TV / living room with fridge. There is a barbecue area and tables outside the kitchen.
